Affirmative Prayer

Beloveds …

“I am filled with the peace, strength, power, and decision of Spirit. The

life forces flow freely, peacefully, and harmoniously through every atom of

my body, I am complete and perfect now. The all-powerful Mind of the

Indwelling Christ in me dissolves and dissipates from my mind all belief in

indecision, anxiety, depression, and discouragement, for I dwell in the

realm of peace.”

… Ernest Holmes, Science of Mind

In a world that seems to be fraught with hostility, power struggles and

health challenges that can show up on a personal level as anxiety, destress

and indecision, it’s a perfect time to take a respite – to turn from the

turmoil and give ourselves the gift of stillness grounded in an unshakable

knowing that God IS equally present everywhere, wholly accessible to each of

us.  Please join me …

Knowing the All-Powerful Mind of God is the life force within, I remember

that I cannot be separated from It.  It is the Life I am living, the essence

of All Creation.  No matter what circumstances I may face, I cannot be alone

… I cannot go it alone.  God is ever-present in, as, around, through and

throughout me, all my affairs and beyond.  My responsibility is to

acknowledge the appearance of obstacles, to release my entanglements with

them and detach from them.  I do this by inviting them to make themselves

known to me so that I can let them go … so I can let myself go.  Gently, I

acknowledge and release.  With each acknowledgement and release, I feel

myself “de-stress.”  I relax.  I continue doing this simple process until

there is stillness.  I greet the stillness and immerse in it.  I remain in

the stillness until Spirit in me, nudges me to return to the busyness of the

world and all the opportunities to show up as an activity of God as Love.  I

do so, refreshed and renewed, easily able to deal with what is.  It is

comforting to know that I can stop to give myself the gift of stillness

anywhere, anytime, throughout my days.

consciousness to the “Spiritual Chain Reaction for Peace” You are invited to
